The Sisters

Our names are, Madeline, Gabrielle, and Kate, we are formally known as the AG Sisters. We have been best friends for over 10 years, dolls have always been our "special" thing.  The three of us girls have grown up loving and playing with dolls. They  have a special meaning to all of us. Since we were young we have taken them on every vacation, shopping spree you name it. They have most definitely been an important part of our lives. From getting more dolls to sending them to the doll hospital we have experienced it all.  As we have grown older we have learned to appreciate them more and more. Over the years our ï»¿moms have looked and looked for doll summer camps however, they never found one. Knowing this we pictured our perfect camp with our dolls, over the years of planning and perfecting our dream has finally come true.

Not only did our moms look for camps, they also made us be creative and resourceful. Our moms are VERY crafty, so it did not take long for it to rub off on us! There came a point when our moms no longer wanted to spend all of that money on certain accessories, so after a few trips to the craft store, we finally became inspired. Yes, we still do buy many outfits and accessories from the store, however, if we can make some of those items why buy them? Our moms also persuaded us to make the things we wanted but were not sold by stores. So we did! After making many of our own items for our dolls, they have earned a new importance.  We want to influence the younger generation of doll girls with our experiences and knowledge! This is our chance to give girls what we always wanted, but never had!

Let's get to crafting and playing!

Trial and error is always part of the process for crafting. It will always be frustrating to realize that you did something wrong or messed up, but the final product is ALWAYS worth it. Working together as a team has been the best experience when it comes to crafting. Not only is collaboration essential, but opinions too. Though others advice may not always be wanted at the time, it is appreciated in the long run. Whenever one of us is puzzled we always turn to each other for advice. We believe that the more advice received the better the product will be.

The goal of our camp was to help the younger generation of doll lovers find their inspiration and enjoy their time with their doll. We are all so fortunate to be able to have dolls, why not spend as much time as possible with them? We want to help girls realize that her doll can be her best friend, a source of inspiration and biggest supporter. We want all girls to be able to have fun with their dolls!

The Process

Dolls have been an essential part of our growth and childhood. We have learned many lessons and continue to as we grow older. They have not only taught us to share but also respect, cherish and appreciate.

We do love going on shopping trips to the doll store, however making the item, gives it a new importance. Making our own doll food and accessories have made us more creative and inspired. The smallest ideas wound up into amazing masterpieces. As we have mentioned we were not always into making our own doll "supplies", it took little steps to crafting. Including many frustrating failed attempts. However after making a final product that we were proud of, only made us want to make more of our own doll necessities. It made us realize that the opportunities are endless as long as we put a little love and dedication into them.
